Graphic NOvelist wins Academy Award

Shaun Tan author of The Arrival (Juv.T1617a) and Tales from Outer Suburbia( Juv. T 1617t) won an OSCAR for best animated short for "The Lost Thing"!

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, Tan is in discussions to make a movie out of the Arrival.
