The book collection of the M. Jerry Weiss Center for Children's and Young Adult Literature (the official opening is October 5, 2006) is housed in the Congressman Frank J. Guarini Library. The circulating part of the collection is located on the third floor in the Juvenile Collection. Weiss Center books all have bookplates identifying them as having been donated by M. Jerry Weiss.
The reference part of the collection consists of autographed books (children's, young adult and adult) that are located in Special Collections on the first floor of the library. These books also have bookplates designating them as donations from M. Jerry Weiss.
The administrative office of the Center is located in Grossnickle Hall Room 103. Visitors to the Center's office will find recent children's books donated by publishers. Visitors are encouraged to read the books and submit a book review form. Selected reviews will be published in the Center’s periodical publication.
